shopping in taiwan

I have uploaded the rest of the travelling snaps in my facebook. I guess I'm just going to post some of my favourite buys from Taiwan. I have been to Taiwan for a couple of times and this time, I had very fruitful shopping done. One of the best places to shop in Taiwan is definitely the drugstore. They are lacklustre compared to Japan but you still can find a huge variety of brands residing in Watsons, Cosme and some others. Thanks to the exchange rate, most products from Japan are cheaper in comparison to the prices in Japan.

I stocked up on my favourite shampoo Ma Cherie, their hair gelee, mod hair styling products, new softymo eye remover, biore sunscreen, rilakkuma lotion, lip balm and many makeup products (which I may share later). I'm not exactly a fan of rilakkuma but how can I resist stocking up on my points to get the free plushies.

Okay, I miss Taiwan now.

bb baby to the rescue

 

Ettusais BB mineral cream and powder promise to make our skin baby smooth in this humid weather of ours. I'm not sure if it will do that for me (ha!) but the texture is really light(which I prefer) and my skin likes it. The powder sinks in well and I have to admit that the packaging is too pretty to resist. Plus I get a free vanity travel pouch which is huge enough to house some charming accessories. Lovely gwp if you ask me!

These are what I currently like using especially the jelly spf which is so light, you can feel that it's barely there. Awesome!

staying beautiful

I'm a sucker for beauty products and have been hoarding loads this s/s. I was particularly drawn to Murad for skincare because a girlfriend swears by this brand. Lucky for me, Murad has this special set currently. Ladies can splurge with ease with the full size products if they like what they see after using the travel sizes. Brilliant.

Summer is almost year round for those residing in Singapore and if you wear makeup, mousse foundation will probably be your thing this summer. I love their new face architect sheer refining mousse foundation! It's really light and do use it after the UV under base mousse. I swear by this combination. I received another 30ml foundation for picking up both the full sized foundation and base. Excellent and generous size for travelling!

This is another BB liquid foundation I use. Fuss-free and vintage-y bottle.

Masking

If there is one thing I cannot do without in my skincare regime, it will be masking. I swear by masking daily, if not weekly. These are the next on my list to try.
