the last week of 2011

I meant to do a new year resolution and what-I-have-accomplished-this-year but I have so many to-do on my agenda every day. Packed to the brim even though I'm currently not working. I'm enjoying every bit of it until I start work again...

*crazy shopping // waiting // charming nails // mad for lip products // black swan in me

*I like to post and describe randomly. Expect more.

Cupcakes with Love

Yay! I finally visited Cupcakes with Love with the boy. Thank you Juwind for telling me and urging me to visit. The cupcakes are really cute and yummy. I want to visit them again when they have gigs. :)

It's Children's Day and the boy bought me some cute stationery. These are some of them.

I have dreams of owning these....

An Orange Thimble Afternoon

On National Day, we weren't in Red but we celebrated in our own way, wearing lilac and listening to our favourite songs on our apple at The Orange Thimble. This new cafe is nested in the ever-so-charming Tiong Bahru Estate. If you have to just order one item from this NKOTB, order their hazelnut daqouise. Thimble up! Their lychee martini ice cream is quite a winner too. I will definitely hop back to try their drinks menu. :)

Mooncake festival is coming!

I love mooncakes since young and every year, I never fail to celebrate it with my loved ones. Carrying a lantern is a tradition for most of us, especially the little ones at home. I wonder what I will get this year...Anyway, my boyfriend bought my first box of bunnies mooncakes waaay before the craze starts.

The hopping bunnies on the packing is extremely adorable. My bf bought it for me instantly when he saw my face beaming at the boxes of cuteness. Such luck that we stumbled upon them before the promotion ended. :)

I love the boy bunny bag that came with the mooncakes. G wanted to get some champagne mooncakes soon because those are his favourite. :)

Antoinette

Last evening, G brought me to Antoinette - a quintessential Parisian pâtisserie and salon du thé. He wanted savouries and as for me, I really was more interested to try their delectable french desserts. It's hard not to enjoy our visit as the service was really good. I recommend trying the Saint Honore L'amour. I'm hoping to try the Pudding Maple and Antoinette next, and definitely the macarons. I've reserved a birthday cake and really can't wait to see it! More about it when the special day arrives.
